Life after Ffynone

Pupils from Ffynone House School have a long tradition of obtaining excellent grades at A Levels and accessing places in top Universities throughout the UK.

In 2009 our Head Boy and Girl both achieved 4 A grades at A level and have accepted places in Kings in London and in Bristol University. The Head Boy decided to take a year out to take up an internship in a law firm in New York.

Access to leading universities

We are extremely proud of the success of our Year 13 graduates.  Many go on to excellent Universities throughout the UK, regularly gaining places to study competitive subjects like medicine and law. In recent years, Ffynone House pupils have gained places at universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Cardiff, Bristol, Swansea, Welsh College of Music and Drama and Kings College and University College, London.

UCAS Application Support

Our Sixth Form staff provide advice and guidance to each pupil to ensure that they are aware of the different University options available to them, and therefore apply for the most appropriate universities and courses. They also offer support in writing UCAS applications and developing interview skills, as well as encouraging pupils to participate in activities throughout their school lives that will help them stand out in the university admissions process.
