Studying Chemistry in Ffynone

In Ffynone House School, the three sciences, Chemistry, Biology and Physics are studied as independent GCSE subjects at Key Stage 4.

Chemistry affects our lives from the moment we wake up! It is involved in making plastics and in extracting metals; in producing crops; in the location, extraction & refining of fuels to power cars; in the making of the paper we write on and the inks we write with.

GCSE Chemistry involves studying chemical processes, the affect they have on the planet and it looks at the important questions now facing our future generations.
