All students are entered for the International GCSE (IGCSE) offered by the Edexcel examination board at either the higher or foundation tier. 

The IGCSE has been chosen because of its more traditional approach to mathematics that concentrates on the fundamental topics of number, geometry and algebra.  Although the GCSE exam is usually taken in year 11 our able students are given the opportunity to follow an accelerated course that is examined in year 10.
