Debating & Public Speaking at Ffynone House School in Swansea

Debating & Public Speaking

There is a strong tradition of public speaking and debating in Ffynone. Pupils participate in a number of different events and competitions throughout the year.

Over the last few years, Ffynone Pupils have done particularly well in the English Speaking Union Debating Competition with a team from Ffynone winning the regional final in Wales and then going on to represent Wales in the UK final in London. That year, the team’s chair won the prize for best chairperson.
