Business Studies

In Ffynone House School we study the WJEC syllabus which means that the examination questions are set in a real and relevant business environment. The course examines business decisions, and gives insightful information into how businesses operate. 

The course examines the following key areas:

•  Marketing: this is where market research and the marketing mix is examined.
•  Accounting and Finance: sources of finance and financial statements are examined.
•  People in Organisations: examining human resource planning, motivation and industrial relations.
•  Production: focusing on production, quality and the effect of new technology.
