Accelerated Learning - Maths

Teaching in sets throughout key stage 3 enables our more able students to follow an accelerated curriculum so that the GCSE examination is taken in year 10.  There is a significant overlap with the IGCSE and the additional maths course (FSMQ), which is offered as an extra qualification in year 11. This is an excellent link to the A-level maths course that starts in the sixth form. For those who take maths a year early but do not with to pursue the subject there is the opportunity to study for an unrelated extra GCSE as a one-year course.
